Vehicle Reservation Terms

Reserve Your Next Car for Just £99

Found a car you love at Approved Cars? You can reserve it for just £99, giving you time to arrange a viewing and take the next steps towards your purchase.
We understand that buying a car is an important decision, which is why our £99 reservation fee is refundable if you decide not to proceed. If you purchase the vehicle, the £99 is deducted from the purchase price.
Please read the following terms so you understand how our reservation process works.

1. About These Terms

These terms apply when a customer pays a reservation fee to reserve a vehicle advertised for sale by Approved Cars, trading as Approved Automotive Group Limited, based in Chertsey, Surrey.
A reservation temporarily holds a vehicle while you arrange a viewing or discuss your purchase. Paying the reservation fee does not, by itself, create a contract to buy or sell the vehicle.

2. Reservation Fee

The reservation fee is £99 per vehicle and can be paid through our website or by contacting Approved Cars directly.
We may ask for your name, address, telephone number and email address to process and manage your reservation.

3. How Long Does a Reservation Last?

Once your reservation payment has been confirmed, we will initially reserve the vehicle for 24 hours.
During this period, please contact us to arrange an appointment to view the vehicle, normally within 7 calendar days of making the reservation.
If you need longer or cannot attend within seven days, please speak to us. We may agree alternative arrangements depending on availability.

4. Viewing Your Vehicle

All viewings at Approved Cars are arranged by appointment so we can give you our full attention.
You can arrange your appointment by telephone, email or through the contact and booking forms on our website.

5. If You Decide to Buy the Vehicle

If you decide to purchase the reserved vehicle, your £99 reservation fee will be deducted from the agreed purchase price and shown as a payment towards your vehicle purchase.

6. If You Change Your Mind – Refunds

We want you to feel comfortable and confident when choosing your next car.
If you decide not to proceed with the purchase, whether before or after viewing the vehicle, you can request a full refund of your £99 reservation fee.
Refunds will normally be made to the original payment card or payment method within five working days of the refund being processed.
If you can no longer attend your appointment or wish to cancel your reservation, please let us know as soon as possible so we can make the vehicle available to other customers.

7. Reservation Conditions

The following conditions apply:
  • Reservations are available on vehicles advertised with the reservation option.
  • Customers may normally reserve one vehicle at a time.
  • A reservation is subject to the vehicle remaining available when payment is confirmed.
  • A reservation does not guarantee acceptance of a part exchange.
  • If a reservation expires without an agreed extension, the vehicle may be made available for sale again. Any refundable reservation fee will remain refundable.

8. Your Consumer Rights

Nothing in these reservation terms affects or limits your statutory consumer rights. Any subsequent vehicle purchase will be subject to the applicable sales agreement and consumer protection legislation.

9. Governing Law

These reservation terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts as determined by applicable law.
