Our Vehicle Preparation Process

When a vehicle arrives at Approved Cars, we follow a preparation process designed to make sure it's ready for its next owner.
1. Initial Vehicle Inspection
We inspect the vehicle and identify any work that may be needed before it's offered for sale. We also review its condition and presentation to make sure it meets our expectations.
2. Road Test
Each car is test driven so we can assess how it performs on the road and identify any obvious issues that need attention.
3. Mechanical Repairs Where Required
If our inspection or road test highlights any problems, we arrange for the necessary work to be carried out by our trusted mechanics before the vehicle is prepared for sale.
4. Interior and Exterior Checks
We assess the interior and exterior condition of each vehicle, paying attention to the details that help make a car feel properly cared for.
5. Professional Valeting
Our vehicles receive a thorough interior and exterior clean, helping ensure they're presented to a standard we're happy to put our name to.

Once you've chosen your next car, we'll make sure everything is ready for a straightforward, stress-free handover.

✓ Vehicle Documentation – We'll provide the available service history and relevant paperwork for your vehicle.
✓ 6-Month Warranty Included – Every retail vehicle comes with our standard six-month warranty at no additional cost, with optional Autoguard Premium Warranty upgrades available.
✓ Minimum 6 Months' MOT – Every retail vehicle is supplied with at least six months' MOT remaining.
✓ Friendly Handover – We'll answer any final questions and help you get comfortable with your new car before you drive away.
